I enjoyed the opportunity to go to Europe and visit my brother and his family back in 2006. I think this trip was one of the galvanizing moments in my development as a photographer. I was using a borrowed camera, so the learning curve was pretty steep. And while there were frustrations along the way, ultimately, I grew to love using a camera even more. Here are a few of the photos from that trip.

I went up to Ricketts Glen State Park yesterday with my friend John, who accompanied me on the Adirondack trip, among others. We had no idea what we were in for, and were duly impressed with the ice formations around the waterfalls and all over the trails. It was quite a trip! You can see some of the photos here.
